all this cold, damp michigan weather...

...makes old bones creaky. dr. lisa's pain meds help, tho! mom says i have to be very careful, but not being able to play can be kinda boring.

can it be two years???

the shepster cellebrated his "gotcha day" with a nice walk, a brush-till-you-shine grooming, and some special treats. he saw dr. lisa last week...we were worried but it turned out to be nothing but playing too hard with jeni. we can tell he appreciates the pain meds and his comfy bed!!! we love you shep-a-doodle!

we'd like to take this opportunity to encourage everyone to participate in rescue...the need for foster families is especially great. unbelievably sweet and smart dogs wind up at shelters and at animal control for a variety of reasons...none the fault of the dog. sometimes all they need is a safe place to land until a forever family can be found...but there's always the risk that they'll grab your heart, and you just can't let 'em go...we love you bud!

it would be hard to find two sweeter guys than shep and his best bud, cinderfella. cinderfella will be thirteen years old in march! dear guys, the both of 'em!
